Licensing

Licensing

How you may use FAIM music.

Non-exclusive creator license

FAIM grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual permission to incorporate downloaded music into YouTube videos, podcasts, websites and social-media content, including monetized creator content. You may edit, trim, loop or mix the music within your project. Other users may license the same track. Projects published while you held a valid download remain covered if a track is later withdrawn.

MP3 and WAV: different formats, not different rights

Free streaming and MP3 downloads cost €0. Individual WAV downloads cost €20; Creator Pass costs €10/month. WAV is primarily a higher-quality download. Paying for WAV or redeeming it does not automatically grant broader commercial rights, ownership or exclusivity. The license applies equally to the MP3 and WAV of the same track unless an explicit track-specific condition states otherwise.

Attribution

Attribution is appreciated but optional: “Music: [track title] — FAIM (free-ai-music.com)” with a link where practical.

Restrictions

Do not resell, redistribute or sublicense the standalone audio, offer it as a competing music library, claim it as your own exclusive work, or register the audio alone with Content ID or a similar rights-enforcement system. Distribution of a finished project incorporating music is different from redistribution of the standalone file. Do not use music unlawfully or imply endorsement by FAIM or the creator.

Commercial use and additional permissions

Monetized creator projects are included. Standalone music releases, broadcast, advertising, games, client sublicensing and other uses beyond those listed need separate written permission. Contact hello@free-ai-music.com rather than assume permission.

AI-generated content and rights limits

FAIM music is produced with AI tools and curated by people. AI-provider terms, source material and local law can affect permitted use and protection. FAIM does not promise copyright ownership, exclusivity, guaranteed copyright protection, absence of third-party claims, or unrestricted royalty-free use. Downloading a file does not transfer copyright. Demo tracks with unverified audio rights are streaming-only.
